Vintage 1960s Heddon Pal "Mark II" Fly Rod, beautifully preserved. James Heddon's Sons, based out of Dowagiac, Michigan, was one of the premier American tackle giants. In the 1960s, they released the "Mark" series of rods, which featured premium gold accents and beautiful maroon/burgundy thread wraps with distinct cream-colored tipping stripes.

Collectors affectionately called this rod a "fighting heart," built to handle big bass, pike, or heavy stream trout.
